The Story of Demon Slayer

The relationship between Hakuji and Koyuki is an essential part of his human story. Koyuki brings a sense of stability to Hakuji's life and allows him to imagine a future different from the one he had known until then.

Hakuji also begins to regard Keizo as a true father figure. He trains at his dojo and quickly develops remarkable martial arts skills.

However, the tragic events that follow turn his life upside down and contribute to Hakuji's transformation into Akaza. His human past therefore helps explain why he has such a distinctive relationship with combat and strength.
