⛩ Akaza is a major antagonist in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. He is a demon affiliated with the Twelve Kizuki, holding the position of highest rank three. More than a century ago, Akaza was a human by the name of Hakujibefore he was turned into a demon personally by Muzan Kibutsuji.

Akaza is a strong, stubborn, and impulsive demon who loves to fight, especially against strong demon killers. He despised anyone he deemed weak, but sincerely respected those who were strong in his eyes, regardless of race. Once he met someone he deemed strong, he took an interest in them and even after their death remembered their name as a tribute to their strength

Akaza's bloody power called Compass (Rashin), allows him to conjure up a compass in the shape of snowflakes, allowing him to track the movements of his opponents and get a much more accurate view of their bodies as well as their vital points.
