⛩ Zero Two is the main heroine and deuteragonist of DARLING in the FRANXX. She is a human-Horned Hurler hybrid and a member of the APE Special Forces, primarily fighting on the frontlines. As an elite Parasite with the code name "002", also known as "Partner Killer", Zero Two had always accepted loneliness due to her horns and the Hurler blood in her veins. Despite having no regard for human life or even her own, and being accustomed to fighting alone, she grew interested in Hiro and offered him the opportunity to pilot with her, making him her new partner and "Darling." After Hiro successfully piloted with her three times, the pair joined the 13th Plantation, piloting the powerful FRANXX Strelizia.

Over time, Zero Two developed romantic feelings for Hiro. However, her determination to become fully human, along with Hiro's fear of her growing wild traits, led to a brief separation of the couple. Both chose to sacrifice their lives to protect and ensure the survival of humanity.

One thousand years later, the souls of Hiro and Zero Two are reincarnated as a pair of children who meet again and rekindle their romance.
