⛩ Ryomen Sukuna, also known as Sukuna, is one of the main antagonists of the manga. Known as the undisputed King of Curses. Jujutsu Kaisen tells the story of Yuji Itadori, an ordinary teenager with extraordinary physical strength and a member of his high school’s occult club.

Sukuna was originally an exorcist, a real human living during the golden age of exorcism over 1000 years ago, and known as the most powerful exorcist of his time.

The exorcists of that time did everything to defeat him, but he broke one of the taboos of the exorcist world and became a Curse, the King of Curses.

In the present day, Sukuna has incarnated in Yuji Itadori. Yuji's life takes a sudden turn when he meets Megumi Fushiguro, an exorcist trying to recover a thousand-year-old relic.

After a curse attack, Yuji swallows the relic. As a result, the teenager becomes possessed by the curse that inhabits the artifact, a thousand-year-old demon named Ryomen Sukuna. Unfortunately, he is condemned to death by the exorcists but is granted a stay of execution on one condition: find and ingest all the "Sukuna's Fingers".
