⛩ Ryomen Sukuna, also known simply as Sukuna, is one of the main antagonists in the manga. Also known as the undisputed King of Curses. Jujutsu Kaisen tells the story of Yuji Itadori, an ordinary teenager who possesses extraordinary physical strength and is a member of his high school's occult club.

Sukuna was initially an exorcist, a real human who lived during the golden age of exorcism over 1000 years ago, and was known as the most powerful exorcist of his time.

The exorcists of this time tried everything to defeat him, but he broke one of the taboos of the exorcist world and became a Curse, the King of Curses.

In the present, Sukuna has taken over Yuji Itadori. Yuji's life takes a sudden turn when he meets Megumi Fushiguro, an exorcist attempting to recover a thousand-year-old relic.

After a curse attack, Yuji swallows the relic. As a result, the teenager becomes possessed by the curse inhabiting the artifact, a millennia-old demon named Ryomen Sukuna. Unfortunately, he is sentenced to death by the exorcists but is given a stay of execution with one condition: find and ingest all the "Fingers of Sukuna".
