⛩ The Uzumaki Clan was the predominant clan of the Hidden Whirlpool Village. This clan had a distant kinship with the Senju clan, with which they always maintained good relations. They were decimated during the Great Ninja Wars along with the Land of the Whirlpools. The few survivors exiled themselves throughout the world. Since then, ninjas from the village of Konoha wear the Uzumaki symbol on their uniforms in memory of their deceased friends.

People from this clan possessed great longevity and exceptional mastery of the art of sealing: fūinjutsu. Kabuto also claimed that the Uzumaki clan has incredible regenerative abilities.

The only three known jinchūriki of the Kyūbi are from the Uzumaki clan: Mito Uzumaki, Kushina Uzumaki, and Naruto Uzumaki. According to Kabuto, members of the Uzumaki clan all have red hair, except Naruto, who inherited his father's hair.
