⛩ Marshall D. Teach, better known as Blackbeard, is the Captain of the Blackbeard Pirates and is currently one of the Four Emperors of the seas in the Grand Line.

Teach was a former member of the second division of the Whitebeard Pirates, led by Portgas D. Ace. He left this crew after killing Thatch, one of his companions, to acquire the Yami Yami no Mi.

He has eaten the Yami Yami no Mi, a type of Logia Devil Fruit. This fruit allows him to become, control darkness, and absorb anything he wishes. It is a very powerful fruit that can nullify the powers of another Devil Fruit, similar to Sea-Prism Stone.

However, these powers do not stop there; he became the only known person to have eaten two Devil Fruits after stealing the Gura Gura no Mi from Whitebeard.

The dream of Blackbeard is to become the King of the World, and he seems to have a well-defined plan to achieve this.
