⛩ Rangiku Matsumoto is the lieutenant of the Tenth Division of Gotei 13, obeying the orders of her captain, Tōshirō Hitsugaya.

Rangiku tends to be lazy: she hates paperwork, preferring to spend her time drinking. She's not very modest about her appearance: indeed, she regularly refers to her large breasts or complains about their size in perfectly normal conversation, much to the embarrassment or amusement of the people she's talking to.

Not much is known about Rangiku's background, except that she hails from Rukongai. As a child, she was saved from starvation by Gin Ichimaru.
