⛩ Nezuko Kamado is the deuteragonist of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. She is the younger sister of Tanjiro Kamado and one of the two remaining members of the Kamado family. Nezuko was turned into a demon at the beginning of the series by Muzan, but she turns out to be a special demon, as she doesn't seem to be obliged to obey Muzan and eat humans.

An important trait of Nezuko as a demon is the ability to constantly restore her powers, without having to eat humans which is the norm for most demons. Instead, she regains her strength through sleep, often spending a lot of time in her box.
