Sanji, the Black Leg, is the cook of the Straw Hat Crew. Sanji learned the culinary arts at the Baratie, a floating restaurant owned by Red Leg Zeff, a former pirate.

He remained unknown to the world for a long time before becoming famous as Black Leg Sanji. He set sail with Luffy in search of the legendary All Blue, a sea that contains fish from all over the world, also known as the "Paradise for Cooks."

Long known simply as Sanji, he is actually the third son and fourth child of the Vinsmoke Family, making him a prince of the Germa Kingdom.

Sanji is one of the strongest fighters in the crew. Alongside Luffy and Zoro, they form the "Monster Trio" due to their incredible strength and rapid progression. Zoro and Sanji are also called the "wings of the Pirate King" due to their significant contributions to Luffy's rise.

Like all the Vinsmoke brothers, Sanji possesses a Raid Suit. This suit enhances his speed, strength, allows him to jump great distances, and has a special ability to turn invisible. However, during the battle of Onigashima, Sanji, fearing he would become as cold and inhuman as his brothers, destroyed the number 3 canister he had, effectively destroying the Stealth Black suit.
