⛩ Ryomen Sukuna more simply called Sukuna is one of the main antagonists of Jujutsu Kaisen. Also known as the undisputed King of Plagues Sukuna was a demonic spirit, originally a real human, living in the golden age of exorcism over 1000 years ago. The exorcists of that time did everything they could to defeat him, and his mummified body could not be completely destroyed. Henceforth his 20 fingers, preserved in funerary wax, passed through the ages as relics.

The Cursed Fingers of Ryomen Sukuna are thus twenty relics of class enclosing the fragmenting power of the King of Plagues.

These relics serve as a prison containing the fragmenting power of Sukuna and were thereby scattered throughout Japan, reuniting the fingers being the only way to revive Sukuna.

In the present, Sukuna was incarnated in Yuji Itadori because the latter ate one of his cursed fingers containing his fragmented power.
