⛩ Jack, nicknamed "Dry Jack", is a pirate belonging to the Hundred Beast Crew led by Kaido. He is one of the Crew's three "Calamities". He is the main antagonist of the Zo arc and one of the central antagonists of the Wano Kuni arc. He has underworld connections and runs the Kuri province in Wano. Jack is a Man-Fish of the Giant Grouper race.

Jack is authoritarian and very sure of himself. He's not the kind of person you can have a quiet chat with, but one who settles everything by force and destruction. He is extremely stubborn and unreasonable; when the Minks tried to tell him that Raizo was not on Zo, Jack refused to listen and preferred to torture them.

As the Calamity of one of the Four Emperors, Jack is an extremely powerful pirate. He is one of Kaido's most trusted men and has total authority over the Gifters and Pleasures.

He is a famous pirate of the New World and well known in the underworld. The bounty for his capture amounted to 1,000,000,000 Berrys, the first bounty to reach this level, which testifies to his strength and dangerousness.

He's a ruthless man, and wherever he goes the land dries up and becomes barren, as if the Drought had passed, hence his epithet.
