⛩ Sakazuki "The Red Dog", better known as Akainu, is the Admiral Commander-in-Chief of the Navy and supreme commander of all Marine forces worldwide.

He was one of the Three Admirals of the Navy, before being promoted to Admiral following the events of Marine Ford. He is one of the series' main antagonists.

He is one of the major antagonists of the Anime and is one of Luffy's mortal enemies, being responsible for Ace's death.

Akainu is a firm believer in Absolute Justice and is ruthless in its application. He has a stern, grim, inexpressive temperament and is the most ruthless of the three Admirals.

Despite this, Akainu seems to be able to hold back at times, having chosen, for example, to spare Jewelry Bonney's life after she was left behind by Blackbeard's Crew, or leaving Aokiji alive despite their duel to the death.
