⛩ Aki Hayakawa is a Public Security Devil Hunter, and a member of the Fourth Tokyo Anti-Demon Special Section. He has a contract with the Curse Demon and the Future Demon, as well as an old contract with the Fox Demon.

Aki generally appears to be a very stoic person. He shows himself to be mature and dependable when he is with his fellow Devil Hunters, but is actually very gentle when he is alone. He tends to get attached to others easily and hates to see people suffer, especially his close friends.

Unlike many of his associates, Himeno describes him as a "normal person", in that he still mourns those who have been lost and has not become jaded enough to shut down his feelings. Despite this, he is very determined and his primary motivation for killing the gun demon is revenge for his family. However, he is quite willing to risk his own life to save others, despite his own fear of death and even at the risk of his ultimate goal.
