⛩ Laboon is a whale (or, more precisely, an Island Whale) comparable in size to the monsters of Calm Belt. A native of West Blue, he landed in this place on his way here with the Crew of the Rumbar, of which Brook was a member; they had promised to return for him after circumnavigating the globe, but in the end they all died (with the exception of Brook, who was resurrected).

The crew of the Straw Hat meet Laboon at the start of the adventure, and Luffy draws a Jolly Roger on his head as a promise.

Laboon is a type A creature, "Big and Friendly", being both the biggest and friendliest creature in the Grand Elements databook.
