⛩ Gin Ichimaru was Captain of the 3rd Division before he betrayed the Soul Society alongside Sōsuke Aizen and Kaname Tōsen. He is a major antagonist of the Arrancar Arc.

As a former Captain of Gotei 13, Gin Ichimaru has a level far superior to other shinigamis. Having graduated from the Shinô Academy in just one year, he's a pure genius.

As one of the few people to have seriously wounded Aizen in combat, Gin was undoubtedly one of the most powerful captains of the older generation.

Gin is also very resilient, in fact he was able to easily take the direct impact of a Getsuga Tenshō from Ichigo in Bankai.
