⛩ Giyu Tomioka is a demon slayer and Water Pillar in the Demon Slayer Army.

Giyu grew up alongside his older sister, Tsutako Tomioka. As a child, his sister sacrificed herself to protect him from demons.

After running away from his village, where everyone considered him a madman, he took refuge in a mountain where he nearly died. He was rescued and apprenticed under Sakonji Urokodaki.

As a Pillar of the Army of Demon Slayers, Giyu is a very powerful swordsman. He was able to easily defeat the transformed Spider Demon Father and Rui, the Fifth Lower Moon.
