⛩ Born on the same day as Son Gokû, Broly had an incredibly developed power for a baby (10,000 units, which corresponded to the level of the Saiyan elite at the time). Broly's cradle was right next to Son Gokû's, and he couldn't stop crying. His incessant cries drove him half-mad, and Broly kept a visceral hatred for him in his subconscious.

When King Vegeta heard of Broly's power, he took fright and ordered him and his father to disappear. For King Vegeta, it was impossible for such power not to be born of his family's royal blood.

After an attempt on his life, Broly and his father went into exile on a remote planet to plan their revenge on King Vegeta and his descendants.

According to Vegeta, Broly is the incarnation of the mythical Legendary Super Saiyan.
