⛩ Kokushibo is the leader of the demonic moons and the most powerful demon in the Demon Slayer universe after Kibutsuji Muzan.

He was before becoming a demon nearly five centuries ago in the Sengoku era a human by the name of Michikatsu Tsugikuni. He is an ancient demon slayer and the older twin brother of Yoriichi Tsugikuni the most powerful demon slayer having even been able to defeat Muzan.

He became a demon slayer because of the frustration he felt at not being able to become stronger than his brother.

He is the only known user of the moon breath and is the ancestor of one of the pillars of our time Yuichiro Tokito whose abilities as well as potential he will recognize.
