⛩ Kanao Tsuyuri is a major secondary character in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. She is a Demon Slayer of the Demon Slayer Army, the Tsuguko (Pillar Apprentice) of Shinobu Kocho and the adopted sister of Shinobu and Kanae Kocho.

While she was taken away as a slave, tied around her waist by a rope held by her buyer, the Kocho sisters after confirming that she was a slave, rescued her and brought her to the butterfly domain. From that day they became sisters and Kanao dedicated her life to her new family.

Like the majority of Forfendants, Kanao possesses a standard sun sword. His katana is a light pink color, complementing his breathing style, the flower breathing. His hilt is circular in shape with a light pastel blue center and border, filled with 3 red five-leaf flowers and a sinuous pattern in light green.
