⛩ Indra Ōtsutsuki was the eldest son of Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki. He was initially seen as the most suitable successor to his father's teachings, but it was his younger brother Asura who ultimately inherited this role—a decision that led the two brothers to confront each other. Indra is also credited with being the creator of ninjutsu and the ancestor of the Uchiha clan.

Asura Ōtsutsuki was the younger son of Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki. Although he was not the most obvious choice for most, he inherited and perpetuated his father's teachings and, as a result, clashed bitterly with his elder brother Indra. Asura is also recognized as the ancestor of the Senju and Uzumaki clans.
