⛩ Guts, known as the "Black Swordsman", is a former mercenary and branded wanderer who travels the world, constantly torn between pursuing his own goals and maintaining his attachments to those he cares about.

As for his equipment, Guts fights with a gigantic sword called the Dragonslayer. It was forged by Godo, a legendary blacksmith who made the weapon for an ancient king wishing to defeat a dragon. However, the blade was so massive that no warrior in the kingdom could wield it.

Later, Flora gifts him the Berserker Armor, which once belonged to the Skull Knight. While this armor allows Guts to surpass human limits by eliminating fatigue, it is also highly dangerous. It inflicts immense pain on its wearer and causes them to lose their sanity.
