⛩ Guts, known as the Black Swordsman, is a former mercenary and trademark drifter who roams the world in a constant internal struggle. Once motivated solely by his will to survive, Guts found a purpose in life when he joined the Falcon Band, contributing greatly to the faction's successes during the Hundred Years' War as captain of the group's raiders. He eventually becomes dissatisfied with clinging to Griffith's dream and leaves the group in pursuit of his own.
