In Mandarin, the reading of 悟 饭 is homophone of 午饭 (wûfàn), which means lunch. Urged by his mother to devote himself to his studies at an early age, he displays remarkable intelligence. In return, he is not allowed to practice martial arts as intensely as his father because his mother prevents him.
