⛩ Godzilla Minus One is a Japanese film directed by Takashi Yamazaki and released in 2023. Produced by Tōhō Studios and Robot Communications, it is the 37th film featuring Godzilla. It is the 5th installment of the franchise's Reiwa era.

The film is set in 1947, as Koichi Shikishima, a former surviving kamikaze pilot, tries to rebuild his life in post-war Japan, which lies in ruins. A new threat emerges: a gigantic monster, Godzilla, brings terror and destruction. Japanese authorities struggle to find a way to stop the creature, while the already war-weary population faces this new enemy.

Godzilla Minus One was presented at the Tokyo International Film Festival. In 2024, the film won the Oscar for Best Visual Effects, becoming the first Japanese film nominated in this category.
