⛩ Shisui Uchiwa was an Anbu member of Konoha's Uchiwa clan. His fame and talent for illusions (Genjutsu) earned him the nickname "Shisui the Mirage", inspiring fear and awe on the battlefield.

Even among his peers, Shisui was considered the most talented ninja the Uchiwa clan had ever known. Even Danzô shared this praise. Shisui's advanced skills led to his promotion to the jônin rank just four years after joining the Academy, and to him becoming head of his own team.

The day came when Danzo attacked Shisui by surprise in order to recover his wards and with his illusionist skills. Shisui lost an eye to Danzo and the Root's treacherous attack. Aware that his precious Sharingan would soon attract covetousness and wars within the village, he gave his remaining pupil to his best friend Itachi Uchiwa, then took his own life.

He is the perfect example of an exemplary shinobi: he endured many wounds in silence and died suffering for the future of his village.
