⛩ Nezuko Kamado is the deuteragonist of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. She is the younger sister of Tanjiro Kamado and one of the two remaining members of the Kamado family. Nezuko was turned into a demon at the beginning of the series by Muzan launching the plot turns out to be a special demon, indeed she seems by no means obliged to obey Muzan and eat humans.

An important trait of Nezuko as a demon is the ability to be able to constantly restore her powers, without having to eat humans which is the norm for most demons. Instead, she regains her strength through sleep, often spending a lot of time in her box.
