His improvement in swordplay is also exceptional, as evidenced by the fact that he was able to fight higher-ranking demons months after recovering from injuries and having no experience fighting enemies of this caliber in the past. Mitsuri Kanroji even commented that accomplishing such a feat was equivalent to intensive training for 4 years. With intensive training in the blacksmith village, his skills and prowess with the blade could match those of the Pillars, the most powerful sword bearers in the entire army of demon slayers. Later, he could face Muzan, showing his immense mastery of the blade, making him perhaps one of the strongest swordsmen of the current generation.
