⛩ Kakuzu was an S-rank nukenin from the hidden village of Taki and a member of the Akatsuki, teaming up with Hidan. Kisame Hoshigaki jokingly called them the "Zombie Brothers", due to the fact, in a sense, that they could not die. Within the organization itself, Kakuzu was the treasurer.

Kakuzu and Hidan are the most efficient duo of the Akatsuki in team fight. Indeed, Hidan's immortality allows Kakuzu to attack his opponents without worrying about the health of his teammate.
