⛩ Ami Mizuno is the civilian name of Sailor Mercury.

Ami appears from the first episode of the series, specifically at the end of the episode, where she is seen taking shelter at Juuban College as it begins to rain.

She appears again in episode 2, entitled Ami, Sailor Mercury, in which we see her transforming into Sailor Mercury for the very first time. In this episode, we discover a shy girl with few friends.

She is then manipulated by the Kingdom of Shadows at the crystal seminar, but frees herself from its grip when Sailor Moon finds herself in danger. Seeing Sailor Moon's life in danger allows her to awaken her powers when she transforms into Sailor Mercury.
