⛩ Eren Jaeger is a member of the Exploration Battalion and the protagonist, and later the main antagonist of the series. He lived in the Shiganshina District with his parents and Mikasa Ackerman until the fall of the Maria Wall. During the incident, Eren helplessly witnesses the death of his mother by the hand of a Titan. This event sparks an intense hatred for the Titans in Eren, with the latter wanting to eradicate every last one of them.

After the Battle of Shiganshina, Eren and his comrades finally arrive at the basement of his native home. Eren subsequently connects to his father's memories, in addition to the three notebooks found, and learns the truth about the Outer World and the Titans. Eren then promises to free the people of the 3 Walls from their true enemy: Mahr and the rest of the world.
