However, Ashborn, seeing the future and the dangers ahead, chooses to diverge from the Architect's plans by transferring his powers to Sung Jin-Woo instead of the Architect, which triggers the anger of the latter. Thus, Ashborn becomes a figure of sacrifice, pushing Jin-Woo to become the hero he is destined to be.
