⛩ Akatsuki was a group of shinobi that existed outside the usual system of hidden villages. Over several decades, Akatsuki took different forms and was led by various people. Although each iteration was considered subversive or criminal, all sought to make the world better in their own ways.

The Akatsuki was originally created by Yahiko, Nagato, and Konan, three orphans from the Rain Village, a small village scarred by wars between the different great nations. This organization was initially aimed at restoring peace and prosperity in the Rain Village, and then throughout the world.

Each Akatsuki base tended to have multiple hideouts around the world, inaccessible due to either their remote locations or the various security measures protecting them.

The members of Akatsuki, numbering nine, were all powerful S-rank criminals with extraordinary abilities, such as an immortal duo with Kakuzu or Kisame, nicknamed the tailless beast due to his immense strength.
