Collection: Shanks - Figures

Shanks - Figures

Dive into the legendary world of One Piece with our collection dedicated to Shanks, also known as Red-Haired Shanks. An iconic figure in the pirate world, Shanks is one of the most mysterious and influential characters in the universe created by Eiichiro Oda. Despite his relatively infrequent appearances in the story, his presence plays a major role in Monkey D. Luffy's journey and in the evolution of the world of piracy.

The Shanks figure allows enthusiasts to add the famous pirate to their collection. With his red hair, black coat, sword and distinctive scar over his left eye, Shanks has an instantly recognisable appearance. Depending on the model, he may be depicted in a calm pose, holding his sword or in a scene inspired by one of his iconic appearances.

This collection is aimed at collectors and fans of Japanese anime who want to explore the world of One Piece through a range of merchandise. In addition to One Piece figures, Shanks' world can also be found on clothing, accessories, school bags, shoes and various items inspired by the famous pirate.

A Shanks figure for One Piece fans

Shanks has a particularly understated and recognisable design. His red hair, scar, coat and sword are the main elements of his appearance. A Shanks figure highlights these details and depicts the character in a variety of situations.

Collectors can choose from models showing Shanks standing, holding his sword, in a fighting stance or in a more relaxed pose. The different versions capture the many facets of the character and his development throughout One Piece.

A One Piece Shanks figure can be displayed on its own or alongside other iconic characters from the series. It can complement a collection featuring Monkey D. Luffy, Roronoa Zoro, Trafalgar Law and other major pirates from the story.

Who is Shanks in One Piece?

Shanks is the captain of the Red Hair Pirates and one of the most important characters in the world of One Piece. He is one of the Four Emperors, the pirates who exert considerable influence over the seas of the New World.

He is also one of the characters who had the greatest influence on Monkey D. Luffy during his childhood. Before Luffy set out to sea, Shanks and his crew were staying in Foosha Village, where he met the young boy.

Luffy deeply admires Shanks and dreams of becoming a pirate after discovering his way of life. This encounter plays a decisive role in Luffy's decision to set sail and pursue his own dream.

Shanks' straw hat

One of the most important objects associated with Shanks is the famous straw hat. When Luffy is still a child, he admires the hat worn by Shanks and wants to become a great pirate himself.

Shanks eventually entrusts his hat to Luffy, asking him to return it when he has become a great pirate. The hat then becomes one of the most important symbols in One Piece.

The hat represents the bond between the two characters and recalls the promise made when Luffy set out on his journey. It has become inseparable from the image of the future King of the Pirates.

Why did Shanks lose his arm?

Shanks' past with Luffy is also marked by a particularly important event. When Luffy is still a child, he finds himself in danger from a sea monster. Shanks intervenes to save him and loses his left arm in the process.

This event demonstrates how much Shanks values Luffy's life. It also strengthens the young boy's admiration for the red-haired pirate.

The loss of his arm has become one of the most recognisable elements of his story. It is often depicted in merchandise and Shanks figures.

Shanks and the Red Hair Pirates

Shanks leads a crew of experienced pirates. The Red Hair Pirates are known for their strength and organisation. Their best-known members include Benn Beckman, Lucky Roux and Yasopp.

Unlike some of the pirate crews featured in One Piece, Shanks' crew appears to be particularly close-knit. Its members share a relationship of trust with their captain and take part together in major events across the pirate world.

Shanks therefore wields considerable influence without needing to seek out confrontations constantly. His reputation and that of his crew are often enough to command the respect of other pirates.

Shanks and the Four Emperors

In the world of One Piece, the Four Emperors are extremely powerful pirates who exert considerable influence over the New World. Shanks holds this position alongside other great pirates.

His status demonstrates his importance in maintaining the balance of power in the pirate world. However, Shanks does not always behave like a pirate seeking to conquer new territories constantly. He appears to prioritise certain goals and intervenes mainly when circumstances require it.

This attitude adds to the mystery surrounding the character. His true intentions and his role in certain events are gradually revealed throughout the anime and manga story.

Shanks' power

Unlike several major characters in One Piece, Shanks is not portrayed as a Devil Fruit user. His strength relies primarily on his mastery of Haki and his swordsmanship.

He is particularly associated with Conqueror's Haki, an extremely rare ability that allows certain individuals to impose their will on others. His mastery of this form of Haki contributes to Shanks' exceptional reputation.

His use of Haki is one of the most impressive aspects of his appearances. Even when he is not directly involved in a fight, his presence alone can change the atmosphere of a scene.

Shanks and his sword

Shanks is also a renowned swordsman. His sword, known as Gryphon, has accompanied the pirate for many years. He uses this weapon when facing other powerful fighters.

The combination of his sword and Haki is an important part of his fighting style. Merchandise therefore often depicts Shanks holding Gryphon, particularly in One Piece figures dedicated to the character.

A dynamic figure depicting Shanks with his sword highlights one of the defining characteristics of the famous red-haired pirate.

The relationship between Shanks and Luffy

The relationship between Shanks and Luffy is one of the most important elements of the One Piece story. Shanks serves as a role model for Luffy and is one of the main reasons why he decided to set sail.

After they part ways, Luffy continues his adventure while Shanks follows his own path with his crew. The two characters rarely meet again, which makes each encounter all the more significant.

Despite the distance between them, Luffy continues to admire Shanks deeply. The straw hat entrusted to him by the pirate remains a lasting symbol of their promise.

Shanks' personality

Shanks has a particularly interesting personality. He is often portrayed as cheerful and able to enjoy simple moments with his crew. He particularly enjoys parties and sharing meals with his companions.

However, behind this relaxed attitude is an extremely powerful pirate. When a situation becomes serious, Shanks can adopt a much more determined attitude and demonstrate the extent of his influence.

Shanks' role in the One Piece story

Since the earliest chapters, Shanks has appeared at various key moments in the story. His role goes far beyond that of a minor pirate. He is directly connected to Luffy, the pirate world and some of the most powerful characters in the series.

His appearances are often associated with important events. Each new piece of information about Shanks reveals more about the world of One Piece and the various forces influencing the New World.
