Collection: Sabo - Figures

Sabo - Figures

Dive into the exciting world of One Piece with our collection dedicated to Sabo, one of the most important characters in the universe created by Eiichiro Oda. Sworn brother of Monkey D. Luffy and Portgas D. Ace, Sabo has a story deeply connected to that of the two pirates. A revolutionary, a talented fighter and the inheritor of the famous Mera Mera no Mi, he plays a major role in the One Piece story.

The Sabo figure allows fans to add the character to their collections and showcase his particularly recognisable style. His top hat, goggles, coat, long metal pipe and staff are some of the iconic elements of his appearance. The various figures may also depict Sabo in action, surrounded by flames or wearing his revolutionary uniform.

A Sabo figure for One Piece fans

Sabo has an instantly recognisable visual identity. His blue top hat, goggles, coat and signature weapon are important elements of his appearance. A Sabo figure allows fans to appreciate these details and see the character depicted in different poses.

Depending on the model, Sabo may be depicted holding his staff, in a fighting stance or using the powers of the Mera Mera no Mi. Flame effects can give the figures a particularly dynamic appearance and recall his connection with Ace.

A One Piece Sabo figure can be displayed on its own or added to a collection dedicated to the main characters. It can be displayed alongside Luffy and Ace to represent the three sworn brothers who formed a brotherly bond during their childhood through a promise of fraternity.

Who is Sabo in One Piece?

Sabo is the sworn brother of Luffy and Ace. During their childhood, the three boys develop a very strong brotherly bond despite their different backgrounds. They share a cup of sake and promise to remain connected as brothers.

Later, Sabo becomes the Chief of Staff of the Revolutionary Army and works directly under Monkey D. Dragon. He therefore takes part in the revolutionaries' struggle against the World Government.

His journey is marked by several events that profoundly change his life. After losing his memory for part of his life, he gradually regains his memories and discovers what happened to Ace and Luffy.

The childhood of Sabo, Ace and Luffy

The story of Sabo begins in the Goa Kingdom. Born into a noble family, he quickly rejects his family's way of life and the inequalities between the different social classes.

He later meets Ace and Luffy, with whom he shares his dream of freedom. The three boys build a small hideout together and save money so that they can set sail when they are older.

Their relationship quickly becomes that of true brothers. They train together, share adventures and support one another despite their different personalities.

Sabo's dream of freedom

Like Ace and Luffy, Sabo dreams of freedom. He wants to leave the world in which he grew up and live according to his own choices rather than follow his family's expectations.

His desire to set sail is closely linked to his rejection of the inequalities he witnesses in the Goa Kingdom. This social aspect of his story plays an important role in his later development and partly explains his connection with the Revolutionary Army.

The three brothers therefore share the same desire for freedom, even though each eventually follows a different path.

Sabo and the Revolutionary Army

After joining the Revolutionary Army, Sabo develops his skills and gradually takes on greater importance. He eventually becomes the organisation's Chief of Staff, second only to Monkey D. Dragon.

His role includes taking part in revolutionary operations and fighting forces associated with the World Government. His experience and fighting skills make him an essential member of the organisation.

Sabo's journey therefore shows a significant transformation: the young boy who dreamed of setting sail becomes a revolutionary involved in a conflict that goes far beyond rivalries between pirates.

Sabo regains his memories

The death of Portgas D. Ace is a defining event in Sabo's story. When he hears the news, some of his childhood memories gradually return.

He remembers his relationship with Ace and Luffy, as well as the promise they made as children. This realisation stirs deep emotions and strengthens his bond with his surviving sworn brother.

From that moment onwards, Sabo decides to carry on part of Ace's legacy and protect Luffy whenever necessary.

Sabo and the Mera Mera no Mi

After Ace's death, the Mera Mera no Mi reappears in the One Piece world. This Devil Fruit was previously associated with Ace, and its powers are deeply connected to his identity.

Sabo eventually obtains the fruit and becomes able to use the same fire powers that defined his sworn brother.

This passing on of the power has great symbolic significance. Ace's Devil Fruit allows Sabo to preserve part of his brother's memory while developing his own fighting style.

Sabo's fire techniques

Thanks to the Mera Mera no Mi, Sabo can create and control flames. However, he combines this power with his mastery of Ryusoken, a fighting technique based on the use of his hands and fingers.

This combination creates a particularly powerful fighting style. Sabo can use his flames while retaining the techniques he mastered before obtaining the Devil Fruit.

Sabo figures may therefore depict the character surrounded by flames, holding his staff or striking a pose inspired by his most important battles.

Sabo and Ryusoken

Even before obtaining the Mera Mera no Mi, Sabo already has a distinctive fighting style. He mainly uses his fingers and hands to strike precise points on his opponents' bodies.

This technique, known as Ryusoken, is directly linked to his training with the revolutionaries. Sabo perfects it over the years and later uses it alongside his fire powers.

His fighting style is therefore different from those of Luffy and Ace. Although he inherits his brother's fire powers, Sabo retains his own identity as a fighter.

Sabo and the Dressrosa arc

The Dressrosa arc marks a major milestone in Sabo's journey. He reunites with Luffy and steps in to support his sworn brother in the fight against Donquixote Doflamingo.

It is also during this arc that Sabo obtains the Mera Mera no Mi. He subsequently takes part in the battles in Dressrosa and demonstrates the full extent of his fighting abilities.

This part of the story also highlights the bond between the two sworn brothers. Luffy discovers that Sabo is still alive and is reunited with a family member he believed he had lost during childhood.

Sabo's personality

Sabo has a personality that differs from those of Luffy and Ace. He is generally calmer, more thoughtful and more organised than his two sworn brothers.

However, he remains deeply committed to freedom and has a strong sense of justice. His involvement with the Revolutionary Army reflects his desire to fight the injustices he witnessed during his childhood.

When he is with Luffy, Sabo also shows a more carefree and brotherly side. Their childhood memories show that they still share a close bond despite their years apart.

Sabo and Monkey D. Dragon

After losing his memory, Sabo is taken in by Monkey D. Dragon, the leader of the Revolutionary Army and Luffy's father.

Dragon therefore plays an important role in the second part of Sabo's life. Under his influence and within the revolutionary organisation, Sabo develops his skills and gradually becomes one of the army's most important fighters.
