Anime history:

The newly built Seirin High School is entering its second year. At the beginning of the school year, the clubs are working hard to recruit new members. The basketball club, led by Riko Aida, has no shortage of ambition despite its small membership. Among the first years, two new recruits mark very quickly the spirits. Kagami Taiga, an imposing player who lived in the United States for two years during college and who surpasses everyone in basketball. The second one is Kuroko Tetsuya, a sickly and totally self-effacing student at first, but who turns out to be the "ghost" in the "Miracle Generation", a nickname given to a group of five prodigious basketball players from Teiko High School, of which Kuroko was a hidden sixth member. Kagami and Kuroko, who have everything against each other, will nevertheless become closer and seek to reach the top in basketball, each in their own way.
