Tsukasa Shishio is the main antagonist from the first to the third arc of the Dr. Stone manga. He later becomes an ally of the Kingdom of Science after its defeat.

AppearanceTsukasa is a tall boy just under twenty, with eyes that are sometimes brown, sometimes red, and long brown hair tied in heavy braids. He wears a crimson-red tunic and a yellow-beige belt. He is very muscular, although his figure is rather lean and slender. He occasionally wears a coat made from the fur of the lion he killed when he first awoke from his stone sleep.
The remnants of his depetrification are the cracks left by the stone covering him, which have now disappeared, and which run diagonally along his torso and face. After losing these marks, he will repaint them in the same places on his body as a sign of war paint.

Once Tsukasa has set his mind on something, he's not about to let it go. To satisfy his idea of how the world should go, he's gone so far as to murder the person who saved his life, then raise an entire army to dominate the world because it would allow him to apply his philosophy.
He's very sensitive to traumas and major events happening to him. Ever since an old rich man beat him up when he was a child, because he was picking up pebbles on a piece of land the rich man had bought, Tsukasa has had a deep hatred of adults and landlords, and never misses an opportunity to destroy their statues (thus indirectly killing them), which also shows that his composure and coldness are of the highest order.
He is willing to sacrifice his life to protect his little sister Mirai, even if the situation demands that he try to stay alive. He won thousands of strength championships to earn money for his little sister when she was hospitalized, but that was his only goal: fame, girls, newspapers and his title of the most powerful high-school student in the primate order, all leave him indifferent.
In our time, the entire planet has been petrified - at least all humans and swallows - by a gigantic beam of light. It's only in February of the year 5738 that a human finally wakes up, the high-school student Senku Ishigami, who is a genius in science and mathematics (as proof, he determined the date of his awakening because he counted the seconds for 37 centuries!!) and followed by his childhood friend Taiju Ooki six months later.
The world is full of statues, but they intend to save it. Senku, who is a genius (I've told you this before), develops a de-petrification remedy. However, when Taiju and Senku are pursued by very large lions, they are obliged to bring back to life Tsukasa, whose statue they come across, and whom they recognize as being famous as the strongest high-school student in the primate order. He kills lions with a single punch.
Unfortunately, he soon begins to clash with Senku. Senku wants to resurrect the whole planet without distinction, while Tsukasa only wants to resurrect the strong young, arguing that the rich adults will go back to turning other people's lives to hell by taking over land and demanding rent.
As a result, a real war broke out between them. Tsukasa managed to kill Senku after extracting the de-petrification formula from him. However, as this same formula had curative effects, it was used to resurrect Senku without Tsukasa's knowledge. And so the war continued: Tsukasa resurrected strong young men, while Senku built scientific weapons with the help of a village of humans (descendants of astronauts who were not on Earth at the time of the petrification and thus survived).
In the final battle, thanks to the dynamite, katanas and tanks of Senku's army, Tsukasa and his henchmen lost the war (also because Tsukasa was the victim of many betrayals), but they converted Tsukasa to their cause by resurrecting and curing his little sister Mirai Shishio, who was suffering from an incurable disease and for whom Tsukasa had given and done everything to keep her alive before the great petrification.
Tsukasa's gratitude was short-lived: betraying him, his second-in-command Hyoga pierced him from behind. But Senku defeated Hyoga with the help of Tsukasa, who was dying with his last bit of strength, and with the aid of a 100,000-volt taser he had made.
Tsukasa was surgically frozen to keep him alive, until Senku brought Tsukasa back from the other side of the world 60 chapters (two arcs) later. Tsukasa then joined Senku's forces and they became friends. Senku is currently planning a trip to the Moon and wants Tsukasa as a fighter on his crew, which Tsukasa agrees to.
- Strength: Tsukasa is extremely strong, having slaughtered a giant lion with a single punch when it had just awakened from a thirty-seven-century stone slumber. He can also destroy stone with his fists, or by crushing it in his hand. Sounds trivial for an anime villain, but impressive for a supposedly normal human.
- Speed: Tsukasa can attack with very fast blows and sprint at incredible speed. His rapid strikes are like giant, devastating lashes.
- Endurance: while Senku and his friends had a very large head start and had gone very far in one direction during a long walk, as soon as Tsukasa spotted them from far away (they had accidentally created a smoke explosion), Tsukasa was able to run without stopping at great speed and over this long distance. He didn't even look exhausted when he reached his destination.
- Reflexes: Senku once fired a crossbow at Tsukasa during a battle (of course, he was aiming wide, just to impress him). The arrow flew at over 200 km/h, but Tsukasa caught it in the air, deflected it, spun around and planted the arrow in the ground, all by following the arrow's speed.
- Charisma: Tsukasa is capable of rallying a huge number of fanatics to his cause and making them obey him, as well as getting all his followers to adopt his doctrine. However, on this point, it would seem that his enemies have more charisma than he does, given that no one betrayed them to join Tsukasa, but that Senku had two spies in Tsukasa's house and three of the latter's elite soldiers went to join Senku, while Homura, Hyoga's right-hand man and Tsukasa's second-in-command, allowed herself to be bribed, and Hyoga finally decided to kill his leader from behind.
