Attack on Titan is one of the most popular manga of all time. One of the many reasons for its success is the incredible characters created by Hajime Isayama. When Connie discovered that everyone in the village where he grew up had left, he had hoped that they had escaped from the titans. However, the houses around him were destroyed and all the horses remained. A titan that looked like his mother lay on the roof of his house, unable to move. After she spoke to him, he began to believe that the titan was his mother. Knowing that she was and that the Survey Corps would find too much information about the titans, Reiner convinced his comrade that it was all in her head. Connie was devastated to learn that her family had really become titans and that Reiner was her enemy.

When he revealed to the Survey Corps that he was the Armored Titan and kidnapped Eren and Ymir with Bertholdt, the two warriors tried to get Ymir to join them. As the only other member of the Survey Corps who knew Marley, she was the only comrade they had who could understand why they had broken through the walls. After debating whether she would remain loyal to Eren and Paradise or save Reiner and Bertholdt, she ended up siding with the warriors and returned to the land she grew up in.ac

While he still believed that his father would return to Karina and have a family, Reiner believed everything he was told. Like almost everyone else in Marley, they thought the people of Paradise were monsters who would kill them. Reiner wanted to be a hero so badly that he was willing to do whatever it took to make his mother and Marley proud. He was shocked to discover that his enemies were the same people he was.

With Reiner and the Survey Corps back on the same side, he was able to say a lot of things he never thought he could say. After Connie killed Daz and Samuel, he was able to understand the man who betrayed him. Reiner said these words to Connie as they were on their way to arrest Eren. Fans are excited to see if Eren will destroy the world or if his friends will save him.
1/ "I don't know what's right anymore, but I know I have to face the consequences of my actions and fulfill my duty as a warrior to the end."
Not knowing if he was a warrior or a soldier, Reiner casually told Eren that he was the Armored Titan and asked him to go to Marley. When Eren refused to join him, he had a breakdown and decided he was ready to show his powers. His words spoke the truth as he and Bertholdt transformed into colossal armored Titans, knowing there was no turning back. This was arguably the biggest twist of the series, shocking fans when they first read it.
