The 10 most memorable Porco Galliard lines in AOT

One of the best things about "Attack on Titan" is the richness of its characters. Many striking characters were introduced in the Marley arc, notably Porco Galliard, one of the heirs to the Jaw Titan. Although he was only present for two arcs of the series, fans learned a lot about him.

Porco was the last warrior candidate to inherit a titan, his own brother, Marcel, having been chosen before him. However, he proved to Marley that he was strong enough to become Marcel's successor and did everything to become the most powerful of warriors. Like other great characters from "Attack on Titan," he delivered significant quotes in both the manga and the anime.

8. "Our comrades sang your name all night long."

After defeating the Mid-East Allied Forces, the warrior unit returned home to Liberio. On the way back, the Marleyan army cheered for Gabi, who had played a key role in the war. Colt, who had gotten drunk, was one of the soldiers cheering the loudest. The next morning, Porco looked after Colt and expressed his pride in Gabi.

7. "Look at them celebrating that single victory. These kids are stupid. Ignorance really is bliss."

At the beginning of the Marley arc, everyone thought Gabi would inherit the Armored Titan, especially after she helped defeat the Mid-East Allied Forces. However, to protect her and allow her to live a long life, Falco worked hard to prove he was just as worthy of becoming the Armored Titan and even beat her in a race. Watching this, Porco spoke these words to his comrades.

6. "It makes no sense! You're clearly the weakest of the group, so why did they choose you?"

Porco had always assumed he would easily inherit one of the Nine Titans during his childhood, and he was shocked to learn that, among the six other warrior candidates, he would be the only one not to become one.

However, Marcel conspired behind his back so that Reiner would be chosen in his place. Unaware of the role played by his brother, Porco was furious with Reiner, and it took him years to understand why he hadn't gotten what he wanted so much.

5. "You didn't do anything. You're clearly the weakest in the group. If anyone's going to be left behind, it's going to be you."

This quote completes the long-standing rivalry between Porco and Reiner. When they were training to become warriors, Porco doubted Reiner's abilities and let him know with cutting words. This complex relationship fueled their rivalry, especially after Porco was left behind.

4. "The Tybur family has never fulfilled its duty to protect our country, even though they held the War Hammer Titan all this time."

Fearing that modern weapons would become more powerful than titans, Zeke gathered the other warriors to discuss strategies. When Porco learned that the Tybur family, despite having inherited the War Hammer Titan for generations, had never truly protected Marley, he did not hesitate to express his dissatisfaction.

During a battle against the Mid-East Allied Forces, Reiner was nearly killed, but Porco came to his rescue. Even after years, Porco still did not consider Reiner a friend and resented him for Marcel's death.

In the manga, during the battle against Eren on Paradis, Porco finally discovers the truth about his brother Marcel, who had sabotaged his chances to protect him. Although he felt some satisfaction in learning he had been right, his happiness was short-lived when Falco, transformed into a titan, devoured him and became the new Jaw Titan.
