Sung Suho is the son of Sung Jinwoo and Cha Hae-In, and also the main protagonist of Solo Leveling: Ragnarok.

Appearance
Suho is a tall, handsome, and muscular young man with gray eyes and black hair inherited from his father. His facial features closely resemble his mother’s, sharing her softer traits. When he uses his powers or feels intense emotions, his eyes glow a vivid blue.
Personality
As a teenager, Suho showed little interest in anything that didn’t excite him, especially not his studies. He enjoyed fighting and was known for standing up to bullies foolish enough to pick on him.
Raised in a family that valued justice with a detective father and firefighter grandfather Suho inherited their strong sense of right and wrong. This was evident when he attacked the Hyena Guild without hesitation after witnessing them kidnapping people for personal gain. He's also willing to cooperate with his father's former enemies and even shows concern for them, as shown when he apologized to Gray for unintentionally overworking him.
Despite his brash and aggressive nature, Suho initially struggled with insecurity. In high school, he was bullied for appearing abandoned by his parents and for being weaker than his hunter classmates. Once his powers awakened, he wasted no time honing his skills, determined to reunite with his parents and surpass his father as the world’s greatest hunter.
As a child, Suho was fascinated by ants due to his friendship with Beru. Even after Jinwoo erased his memories of Beru, his love for ants remained. He continued drawing them for fun and was always careful not to step on them by accident.
Abilities
As the son of the Shadow Monarch, Suho holds the potential to become one of the world’s most powerful humans. In high school, before his parents’ disappearance, he experienced “The Tutorial” inside the Tower—a place that was neither dream nor reality. This allowed his father, Sung Jinwoo, to assess the extent of Suho’s inherited powers. His potential far exceeded that of an average S-Rank Hunter, reaching a level where only Jinwoo could defeat him in one-on-one combat. However, Suho did not retain the strength he developed in “The Tutorial.” When his memories and abilities were unsealed at the beginning of Solo Leveling: Ragnarok, his power returned to what it had been at the moment the seal was placed. He now must train using a revised and customized system to regain, and potentially surpass, the strength he once had.
Immense Strength: Suho has extraordinary physical power. He defeated Bellion in their first fight and even briefly kept up with his father in battle. He also climbed the Demon Castle floors faster than Jinwoo did as the System’s Player—despite not having shadow soldiers to assist him. Furthermore, he killed Vulcan in just a few blows. In Solo Leveling: Ragnarok, Suho invests heavily in strength stats from the beginning, much like his father, but with even greater focus over a longer growth period. As a result, Suho's strength stats far exceed his official Hunter rank. For example, even as a C-Rank Hunter, his strength was already at S-Rank level.
Immense Speed: Suho is incredibly fast, showing agility that allowed him to briefly keep up with his father during their sparring match in the Solo Leveling epilogue chapters, particularly during “The Tutorial” in the Tower.
Combat Mastery: Despite lacking formal training, Suho is highly skilled in hand-to-hand combat. He also handles weapons such as swords and daggers with ease, though he prefers to fight barehanded.
Accelerated Growth: Like his father, Suho has an exceptional growth rate, able to significantly boost his power through intense training in a short amount of time.
Monster Tongue Proficiency: Suho can understand and speak the language of monsters, which allows him to communicate with Ammut and enemy monsters during battle.

Passive Skills
Longevity: Like his father, Suho is immune to all diseases, poisons, and harmful abilities. His regeneration speed is far beyond that of a normal human and increases exponentially while he sleeps.
Detoxification: Just like his father, Suho’s body automatically purges any poison detected in his bloodstream. Unfortunately, alcohol is also considered a toxin, preventing him from getting drunk.
Martial Arts: Increases damage from physical attacks by 33%.
Tenacity: Increases physical defense by 20% at level 1, reaching up to 60% at level 3.
Enhanced Strength: Increases strength by 30%.
Endurance: Physical defense increases from +40% to +60% at level 3.
Elf’s Step: A stealth skill taught to Suho by Sirka, Sillad’s successor. By applying mana to the soles of his feet, Suho leaves no trace on the ground. This skill even allowed him to walk over the Sea After Death in search of the World Tree.
Advanced Dagger Techniques: An evolved form of his dual wielding skill. Unlike his father, Suho preferred swords, but after receiving Kamish's Wrath as a quest reward, the skill evolved accordingly.
Gluttony: After Esil became the new Demon Queen and Monarch of Gluttony, she appointed Suho as her priest and granted him her blessing. This skill boosts his ability to refine nutrients from the world as he grows, increasing his absorption rate to 300%.
(Unknown) Max Level: Little is known about this skill, but it appears to grant Suho the ability to enter the World of Nothingness, a realm where Superior Beings like the Monarchs go after death. Even his father, the Shadow Monarch who transcended death, cannot enter. As long as Suho remains in one of the Fallen Monarch's Sanctuaries, this skill activates automatically. According to Antares, Suho did not inherit or acquire this skill from his father. It also allows dead Monarchs to observe Suho in the real world when he engages in activities related to them, to signal their presence, and even interact with him.
Active Skills
Sovereign’s Authority: Suho can use telekinesis to move and control objects at will. He mastered this power from a young age, even flying with ease, just like his father.
Shadow Extraction: Suho can extract the shadows of fallen enemies and add them to his army.
Shadow Morph: A unique function of Suho’s shadow extraction, unlocked at level 2. It allows him to change the shape of any acquired shadow soldier for greater utility.
Shadow Preservation: Suho can store his shadows and perceive the world through their senses.
Shadow Exchange: Suho can use shadows as portals to instantly travel across vast distances.
Monarch’s Domain: Suho can enhance the power of all active shadow soldiers in battle. Unlike his father’s version, Suho’s ability is infused with flames thanks to powers from Antares.
Storm Slash: A wide-range sword technique that creates violent, swirling winds around his blade. It’s mainly used to strike multiple enemies at once with rapid slashes and is similar to Mutilation.
Beast Possession: A blessing from Rakan allowing Suho to absorb Gray’s spirit body. This skill, similar to Beast Transformation, boosts his movement and attack speed by 30%.
Iron Body Technique: Taught by Ammut—a creature made by Tarnak and Kandiaru—this skill lets Suho surpass physical limits and transcend the soul realm. It allows him to defy physics and strike spiritual bodies through sheer force. When activated, a black armor partially covers his body, especially his arms, forming gauntlets. Ammut and Tarnak failed to apply this to weapons, making Suho the first to achieve this feat.
Giant’s Armor: A gigantification skill acquired from a rune stone that creates a magical armor to enlarge Suho’s body. It later evolved when infused with the flames of Antares’ Dragon Heart.
Poison: A blessing from Querehsha granting Suho complete immunity to poisons. He can also replicate any poison he absorbs and weaponize it.
Freezing Blizzard: A blessing from Sillad allowing Suho to summon a blizzard that applies a debuff, reducing enemy movement and attack speed.
Bloodlust: Suho can instill overwhelming fear in his enemies through magic, forcing submission and reducing their stats by 50%. This can be used on multiple targets at once.
Black Flame Storm: An evolved version of Storm Slash. After completing his first Draconic Trial for a job change by reaching level 99, Suho receives Antares’ Dragon Heart. The Dragon’s black flames engulf Suho and mutate some of his skills. The violent wind from Storm Slash merges with the highly compressed black flames of the Dragon King to form a ferocious black flame storm.
Demon Strike: A linked skill allowing Suho to draw energy from the "Descendant of White Flames" and release a powerful burst. When used, the chosen part of Suho’s body glows with black and red light.
Grassland Wind: Similar to Quicksilver, this skill increases Suho’s movement and attack speed by 30% for a short time when possessed by Gray.
Massacre: A dagger technique that unleashes a rapid flurry of strikes, moving so fast they’re invisible to the naked eye.
Spiritual Armament: A linked skill obtained from Sirka, the “Descendant of Frost.” It temporarily enhances shadow soldiers by sacrificing spirits. The attribute and boost level vary depending on the type and number of spirits used. Some may gain elemental affinities for extra bonuses.

Breath of Destruction: Antares’ signature skill, which Suho learns during his third draconic trial while battling Baran in his ongoing job change quest.
