Among these students is Katsuki Bakugo, a character with an explosive and confrontational temperament, whose altercations with his classmates—especially with his long-time rival Izuku Midoriya, whom Bakugo nicknames "Deku"—are as essential to his character as his explosive Quirk and stylized costume.
