Meguru Bachira is a major secondary character in the Blue Lock series.
Bachira is a fantasy striker who plays according to his instincts and when he arrived at Blue Lock, he was a member of the Z team in the first selection. His main goal was to find soccer rivals to play with, who also have a "monster" inside them, but later changes to become the best striker in the world when he overcomes his childhood trauma.
After the Japan U-20 game, Bachira is currently playing as a center forward for FC Barcha in the Neo Egoist League.

Apparence
Bachira is a fairly tall young man with a slim build and an oval-shaped face. He has bright yellow eyes and bobbed hair that reaches his chin and is black with gold under-lights (when Bachira was younger, his hair was only ear length). When he was in a junior soccer league, he wore the #8 jersey. During the Chiba Prefecture tournament, Bachira wore jersey #8 for Namikaze High, which had a special bird pattern in the center.
At Blue Lock, Bachira wears the bodysuit (black with gray stripes) and the standard tracksuit. In the first selection, he wore the blue jersey No. 8 of the Z team, and in the second selection, he wore the jersey No. 16 of the white team later switched to red. In the third selection, he switched between the black jersey No. 7 of the A team and the white and blue jersey No. 7 of the C team and he wore the gray cleats of the Z team.
At the Japan U-20 game, Bachira puts on an official player uniform Blue Lock with No. 8, which looks very similar to those seen in the first cover, minus the Japanese flag. When he plays in the Neo Egotist League at FC Barcha, Bachira wears one of their uniforms.
Personality
Bachira has a rather eccentric behavior and personality. He is usually very energetic, cheerful and enthusiastic during games, rarely losing his cool and willingness to play, describing soccer as something fun to play with others. Bachira immediately relates to Ravinho who is also eccentric and energetic inspired by the way he plays soccer. He has a tendency to sleep at unexpected times, as evidenced by the beginning of the etiquette test when he was found asleep. He sleeps most of the time and eventually relies on Isagi or Kuon to wake him up and then fall asleep during their team meetings; he is also known to fall asleep during meals. When the Neo Egoist League starts, Bachira takes his soccer training more seriously in an effort to become the world-class egoist he imagines himself to be and become the best in the world. Bachira now actively trains with weights and mediates.
During his childhood, he was actively bullied because of his eccentric personality and exceptional soccer skills, which led to a form of trauma where he is afraid to be alone. This trauma leads Bachira to create an imaginary friend who is a "monster"; specifically a soccer monster because he motivates Bachira and his games in the game. It is only after arriving at Blue Lock that Bachira begins to deal with his trauma as he finds people he resembles and can call a friend, like Yoichi Isagi . Bachira can be seen casually befriending all sorts of people despite his somewhat strange behavior, including Isagi, Rin, Chigiri and Kunigami.
After the rematch between Isagi's white team and Rin's red team, Bachira overcame his previous trauma and decided to be more confident and dominant on the field. He also wants to become the best striker in the world, who only scores for himself, so he will only pass the ball to someone if they have the potential to excite him and help him play the kind of soccer he wants to play. Bachira has also strengthened his resolve to move forward in Blue Lock; no matter what the challenge, Bachira looks at the situation with optimism and resolves to get stronger and reach the top of every challenge that comes his way.
Capabilities
Archetype
- Dribbler: Dribblers are players known for their ability to control the ball at close quarters, which is used to get past defenders through a sudden change of direction and acceleration sometimes combined with high pace. The skill is used to create opportunities for other attackers or to mark themselves after breaking through the opponent's defense using what is sometimes called "trickery." One of the great spectacles of soccer is a player making a "labyrinthine run" with the ball, twisting and turning to avoid opposing tackles, beating a number of players.
Bachira's dribbling technique allows her to break through most defenses with only high-level players able to stop her, but it is very rare to be robbed of the ball. Team Z relied heavily on her dribbling ability to get the ball down the field in the first selection. His dribbling ability is only matched by a few Blue Lock players and combined with his key passing ability, he has proven to be an indispensable asset on any team. After the initial Neo Egoist League training, Bachira evolved his dribbling away from the proactive dribble to a more counter-active dribble, preferring to read his opponent's movements first, maturing in the way he moves on the court.
Skills
Elastic Dribbling: Bachira's dribbling style relies on his supreme technique and creativity to get through other players' defenses. His dribbling ability is so advanced that Isagi once noted that it would be impossible for him to steal the ball in one-on-one situations.
- Selfish Style: During the second selection, Bachira has evolved his dribbling to a new selfish style, where he refuses to pass the ball, preferring to move dynamically in front of defenders alone. If his team does not challenge his expectations, he does not care to have them in his games. This was demonstrated to devastating effect when he dribbled past Isagi, then took on the three Chigiri, Baro and Nagi, passing all of them to get to the goal and once again when he single-handedly passed the entire Japan U-20. defense. After training with Ravinho and with FC Barcha, Bachira decided to mix his dynamic and explosive dribbling with FC Barcha's fluid style, creating a whole new selfie style.
- High Speed Scissors: Bachira executes a scissors feint at incredible speed, making it difficult to follow.
- Marseille Turn: In order to get around an opponent, Bachira performs a roulette, almost immediately after her scissor feints.
- Midair Elastico: Bachira can perform the complex elastic dribble, while the ball is in the air, luring her opponents to try to steal the ball, before passing them.
- Rabona: Bachira kicks the ball where his kicking leg is crossed behind the back of his standing leg. He managed to kick the ball over an incoming defender while doing this.
- Nutmeg: In the second selection, Bachira was able to execute a triple nutmeg on Isagi, Chigiri, and Baro, all in succession, demonstrating his technical ability.
- Double touch feint : Bachira executed a very fast scissors and turned into a one-two touch feint.
- Aerial Rush Turn: After a double feint, Bachira moves towards the opponent and, while maintaining her maximum speed, turns on the ball and spins around the defender to easily break through his defense.
Key Passage: Bachira is also a very talented passer, which allows him to assist many different goals. He has, on several occasions, earned an assist by crossing from the wings, as well as passing from midfield. He has also demonstrated a range of passing techniques.
- High speed ground pass: A fast pass with incredible rotation, which bounces off the ground.
- No-look pass : Bachira uses the Rabona technique to pass without looking.
- Long Range Backspin Pass: Bachira can perform a long range pass, traveling nearly 60 yards, with backspin, allowing the ball to stick to the ground while rising. This pass is best used in a chemical reaction with a tall player, who can intercept the ball in its flight path, rather than on the ground.
- Quick Cross: Using another player's movement as a precursor, Bachira fires a quick cross into the box that can only be met at high speed. He used it to help Rin's goal against the World Five team.
- Heel Lift Pass: While running with the ball in tow and into the defenders who are starting to press him, Bachira quickly lifts the ball with his back heel over their heads while quickly passing it to a teammate to avoid the press.
- Bee Shot: After quickly passing the ball to his teammates and through the defenders, Bachira receives the ball again and takes a close free form shot that he is too quick to react to.
Flow State: Flow, as described by Ego, is the state of "total immersion" or "being in the zone." It is the mental state in which a person performing an activity is completely immersed in a sense of energetic concentration, total involvement and enjoyment in the process of the activity.
Bachira involuntarily and intentionally entered the flow state several times during Blue Lock, starting with the first selection. In this state, he executed a triple nutmeg on some of Blue Lock's best players and broke through their defense with ease, scoring almost single-handedly, if not for the confidence and respect his opponent had in his skills, which led them to intercept him. .
Monstrance: when entering the flow state, Bachira enters a trance focused on the challenge, executing techniques incredibly quickly, including multiple feints and moving solely by instinct. Because he moves without conscious thought, it is incredibly difficult for defenders to predict and stop. In this state, Bachira was able to easily defeat U20 defenders and even Aiku Oliver . Bachira has further evolved by being able to enter the monstrance at will and even combining his explosive style with Ravinho's free and fluid Ginga style, capable of producing even more explosive and creative plays.
-
Monster x Ginga: After merging Lavinho's Ginga style with his Monstertrance, Bachira evolves his dribbling to be even more explosive, fluid and unpredictable.
- Trick Break: After waiting and reading her opponent, Bachira rushes towards a defender, executing a choppy dribble between her legs while hugging the defender using her posture to limit her response and push herself forward with the ball. When the defender attempts to respond, Bachira is able to easily push the defender away while tracking the ball and thwarting any other stops.
- Monster Lift: Bachira is able to perform a daring lift, first lifting the ball and moving in a shooting motion, before hitting the ball down with force and topspin. On the rebound, the ball spun over the defender's head for Bachira to chase down. Bachira used it to good effect against Aiku.
