Makora, the godless Celestial General, is a pet that no master of the Ten Shadows Technique has ever mastered, not even the current spell-holder Megumi Fushiguro.

Makora is a humanoid pet with a distinctive face: he has four long wings on his upper body and a long tail that extends from behind his head. Above his body, he floats a wheel with eight handles. Chains hang from his chest, and his right hand is attached to a sword named "Yatsuka, the Demon Slayer", a cursed object with which he fights, capable of pulverizing a spirit in a fraction of a second because it's enveloped in positive energy.
To summon it, the summoner must utter the Sacred Treasures incantation: "To me the Sacred Treasures, by the Sword of Yatsuka, I invoke...". He must also extend his arms at a slight angle and close his fists. A great wave of shadows emerges from the summoner's reflection, making way for Makora and several other familiars who seem to be announcing his arrival by shouting.
Thanks to its sixth sense, this familiar can adapt to any phenomenon as soon as the wheel on Makora's back turns. The familiar then analyzes its opponent's techniques to guard against them and find the loopholes that will enable it to strike a decisive blow. For example, when Makora is attacked by its opponent, it can respond by healing itself. Similarly, if his opponent uses the same technique against him again, Makora will know how to repel the spell; even attacks of an intangible and invisible nature, as he can see them.
In addition, Makora can still decide whether or not to use normal occult energy for her attacks. All these abilities occur as soon as the familiar's wheel turns. For Makora, fighting like this would be a bit like playing rock-paper-scissors, knowing in advance the opponent's choice.
Coupled with all this, Makora is endowed with great physical power; he has the strength to shatter concrete with a single blow and was even able to hurl Ryomen Sukuna through several buildings. The King of Plagues noted that if Megumi had summoned Makora during his first fight with him, the apprentice exorcist would have been able to kill him.
In the end, the only way to defeat Makora is to knock him down before he can guess his opponent's attack and adapt to it; and this with a type of technique that Makora hasn't learned to counter.
This familiar is so powerful it's uncontrollable. Of all the users of the Ten Shadows Technique, none has been able to tame it. While the familiar may not be tamed, it can still be summoned by the master of the Ten Shadows in a multi-part ritual, including his opponent. Admittedly, this doesn't earn the exorcist a new familiar, but once the ritual has begun, the participants are obliged to defeat Makora together, to the death. The summoner then sacrifices his or her life for victory; because Makora is not controlled, the familiar can also attack the master of the Ten Shadows, its summoner.
Megumi FushiguroMegumi, the current holder of the Ten Shadows Technique, is no exception to his ancestors' rule. For him, Makora is a secret weapon he uses as a last resort, often against large-scale opponents such as Ryomen Sukuna and S-class scourges, or when his life is hanging by a thread. So when he feels victory slipping away, Megumi is ready to sacrifice himself to win.
With Megumi as his current vessel, Sukuna now had access to the young apprentice exorcist's spell. As a result, he can now summon Makora. At present, it's impossible to know whether Sukuna has complete control over him. However, the King of Plagues can call upon the familiar's wheel to adapt to his opponent. And when he wants to, he can give it back to Makora to take his place in battle.
