Lance Crown is the deuteragonist of the series. A first-year student at Easton Magic Academy, he is the true rival of Mash Burnedead. His most notable trait is his sister complex.

Appearance of Lance Crown
Lance is a tall, handsome, and slender young man with short pale blue hair and matching eyes. Two vertical marks start from under his right eye and go down his face. He wears two distinctive accessories:
- A planet-shaped earring with planetary rings.
- A locket containing a photo of his younger sister, Anna Crown.
His standard Easton Magic Academy uniform includes a long-sleeved white shirt, a black robe, a red tie, black pants, and brown shoes.
Personality of Lance Crown
In his youth, Lance was a caring boy, ready to defend the oppressed, even at the risk of facing repercussions. Highly protective of his sister Anna, he swore to become a Divine Visionary to save her from the Bureau of Magic.
Phobia of bugs and ghosts
Although he is generally brave and thoughtful, Lance has a paralyzing fear of bugs and ghosts, to the point that he can faint at the sight of them.
History of Lance Crown
His Past
Lance was born into a modest family where his parents and his sister Anna are single-line mages, unlike him who has two. When his sister falls seriously ill and loses her magic, his parents show disgust towards her, which pushes Lance to cut ties with them. Since then, he has set himself the goal of becoming a Divine Visionary to save Anna.
Easton Enrollment Arc
Lance appears for the first time when he asks Mash Burnedead, Lemon Irvine, Finn Ames, and Tom Knowles to participate in a study session. After a quick confrontation with Mash, the defeated Lance gives him two silver coins as a reward.

During his fight against Epidem, Lance reveals the ability to summon a god through his wand, which transforms into a spear adorned with rings.
