Appearance
Chris was a tall and muscular young man with wavy brown hair shaved on both sides of his head, blue eyes, and a sparse beard. When using his powers or when agitated, his eyes would glow a bright blue.
In his first appearance, he wore a light gray long-sleeved shirt, pants, and blue sandals. In his ID photo, he wore a pale gray jacket over a teal blue shirt.
Personality
Chris was somewhat arrogant and proud of his powers, as shown by his fury when he learned that someone might be strong enough to kill him. However, his ego did not make him foolish, as evidenced by his serious consideration of Norma's warning about his predestined death after reflecting on and speaking with her. He was also seen as a lone wolf, living in solitude, and was not the type to go down without a fight, as he attacked the three Monarchs pursuing him, fully aware that he would die in the battle.
History
Japanese Crisis Arc
Shortly after a Rank S Gate appeared in Maryland, Chris was visited by Norma, who warned him of his imminent death due to a vision she had in a dream. Though initially skeptical of the existence of someone strong enough to kill him, Chris decided to take her warning seriously after some thought and accepted a piece of paper with Go Gunhee's phone number so he could contact Jinwoo for help if Norma's vision came true.
International Guilds Conference Arc
Several days after Norma's visit, Chris woke up in the middle of the night to an eerie silence in his home, unaware that he was trapped in a dimensional rift. When he called out for his enemies to show themselves, Tarnak appeared in front of him, while Rakan and Querehsha arrived from behind. Although Chris had no idea who they were, he knew they had come to kill him.
Realizing that Norma had been right about the warning and it was too late to call for help, Chris threw himself into battle against the three Monarchs, hoping to at least kill one before they killed him. Unfortunately, his efforts were in vain, as Chris was the only one to die in the ensuing battle. His mutilated body was later found in the ruins of his mansion, to the shock of those who discovered his remains.
Ragnarök
Several decades later, in the revised timeline, Chris regained his powers and his status as one of the world's most powerful hunters. However, being a vessel for the Sovereign in the original timeline, he was eventually targeted by the Itarim, then possessed. This eventually forced Thomas André to confront and kill him in battle, though his death remained a secret for a long time before being made public.
Abilities
Inspired by a Sovereign and national-level hunter, Chris was one of the most powerful hunters in the world. Unfortunately, the full extent of his abilities was never fully revealed, as he was killed in an unseen battle against three Monarchs.
Sovereign's Authority: Chris was capable of controlling and moving objects telekinetically.
Spirit Body Manifestation: Chris was able to transform into a one-eyed humanoid monster with fiery light orange hair. The flames he could generate with this ability were so powerful that it took 14 Rank S Hunters to extinguish them.
