Appearance
Bonk Punch is a very tall and sturdy man with a bald head and a prominent scar that runs down the left side of his face to the middle of his chest. Dark circles are constantly present around his eyes, giving him a distinct look. He typically wears a collared shirt with rolled-up sleeves, carries a backpack, and is almost always seen with Monster (his pet monkey) perched on his shoulders.
In his early appearances, he was considerably thinner and wore a striped shirt with a cloth sash. His scar has also undergone several visual changes throughout the series, appearing above his eyebrow during the Romance Dawn Arc before expanding into the large torso-length scar seen at Marineford.

Like the other members of the Red-Haired Pirates, Bonk Punch enjoys partying and drinking. He is almost always seen smiling, even during serious or tense situations. He shares a deep bond with Monster and possesses unwavering confidence in his captain, Shanks.
Relationships: Monster
Monster and Bonk Punch share an incredibly close partnership. More than just a pet, Monster rides on his shoulders even during battle. Together, they serve as the crew's musicians and a coordinated combat duo.
Abilities and Skills
While his specific combat feats were unknown for a long time, as an officer of a Yonko crew, he is undeniably powerful. Commodore Brannew highlighted that Shanks' subordinates have exceptionally high average bounties and a reputation for balance and strength.
Bonk Punch typically fights alongside Monster. In combat, he often lets Monster handle weaker enemies while he builds up energy for a devastating, high-power punch. He has also been depicted carrying a pistol, though his primary strength lies in his physical power.
History
Romance Dawn Arc
Bonk Punch was first seen celebrating with the crew at Partys Bar in Foosha Village, enjoying the festivities and welcoming Luffy into their circle.
Marineford Arc
He arrived at Marineford with the core fighters of the Red-Haired Pirates to stop the war. He stood alongside his crew, ready to fight the Marines or Blackbeard's crew if the conflict continued.
Four Emperors Saga / Egghead Arc
During the crew's journey near Wano and later Elbaf, Bonk Punch celebrated Luffy's progress as a pirate. Most recently, on the coast of Elbaf, he prepared for battle against the Kid Pirates. While the officers prepared to move, Shanks finished the battle instantly, leaving the crew to handle the aftermath as they protected their territories.
