Ban is the Fox of Greed from the Seven Deadly Sins. After the group disbanded, Ban was initially imprisoned in Baste Prison, but escaped when he discovered that Meliodas was still alive. His Sacred Treasure is the Sacred Baton Courechouse. In addition to being immortal after drinking the Fountain of Youth cup, it is known for its ability, Hijacking. However, he loses his immortality by giving it to Elaine to resurrect her. The fox is placed above his waist, on his left side.

Personality
Ban has a rather dangerous and reckless behavior. Often drunk, his enemies tend to underestimate him. Something they shouldn't do in my opinion. He likes to hide his game and take pleasure in fighting his opponents.
Despite the fact that Ban often smiles he can sometimes show how lonely he is without his lover Elaine. Even after all these years he remains faithful to her and wants to save her at all costs.
Histoy
Past
16 years ago Ban tried to steal the water from the fountain of youth where he met Elaine who threw him countless times until Ban asked Elaine to stop making him steal and Elaine asked him how he stayed alive after such a fall Ban told her the first time he fell into a bush then a tree. One day Ban caught Elaine reading a book and said "I wish Ban had come to steal me instead of the water from the fountain of youth". Several days of kissing, and finally Ban killed the red demon.
Ban, Meliodas and Diana were in a strange cave-like place. While the latter was sleeping, Ban asked Meliodas to see his sword. Meliodas refused, but Ban insisted. Meliodas told him that he would be angry if he continued. Surprisingly, these words made Ban want to see the sword even more. Meliodas then stood up and seriously wounded Ban in the neck, but Ban was quite happy to have seen the dark side of the captain.
Ban, Meliodas and King were in a house. Ban had stolen a lot of stuffed animals from the kingdom, which deeply upset and saddened King. King decided to take back all the stuffed animals, and to repair the ones that needed it, then to return them to their owners.

Ten years ago, the Seven Deadly Sins were summoned by the Great Sacred Knight, Zaratras. They were all happy to meet him, but they discovered that Zaratras had been skewered by a dozen swords. While the Seven Deadly Sins were horrified by their discovery, the other Sacred Knights arrived and surrounded them, thinking that they were the murderers. The group was then dismantled.

Arch of the Forest of White Dreams
When some Sacred Knights spoke at the Keep of Baste about the rumor that one of the Deadly Sins would come to save Ban, the latter began to hum.
Arch of the Donjon de Baste
Ban manages to mysteriously get out of his cell. The guards panic because of his exit. An apprentice Sacred Knight named Jericho arrives, but he realizes that she is too small for him after all. As a knight looks into the cell where Cenette is imprisoned and says that she is beautiful, Ban arrives and approves of this, then hits him. Cenette is then worried when Ban enters her cell, then he steals her dagger. Cenette says to him that it is her father who offered it to her so that she can defend herself, then Ban adds that it was forged by Tarbas. Ban frees Cenette from her chains, and says that the edge is very good. Cenette then asks Ban to give her dagger back, as it is her mother's inheritance, but Ban turns around with a threatening look on his face and says that this dagger belongs to him now. Then, Jude arrives to stop them. Ban asks him why he's come to kill him now, and Jude tells him that he was only being used as bait to lure the other Capital Sins, and that he's no good to them now since the other Mysterious Fangs are attacking Meliodas and Diana. Jude then stabs Ban with a thorn. But, strangely, Ban does not suffer and pulls the thorn out to stab Jude in the chest, killing him. When Meliodas, Diane and Hawk enter the dungeon, Ban arrives, just after Cenette.
Ban is then in front of Meliodas and after a moment of short silence, they greet each other happily. But strangely, continuing to greet each other, they happily punch each other. They then decide to arm wrestle, but the tension between the two of them is so strong that the whole dungeon starts to collapse. After the dungeon completely collapses, Ban tells Meliodas that he is happy to have him back. After the Keep of Baste is destroyed, all the prisoners who were unjustly captured by the Sacred Knights return to the Village of Dalmary, including Cenette. At night, during the party, Ban is formally introduced to Elizabeth, who is still in bed because of her injuries. He then discovers that Hawk can talk, which really impresses him because he thought that the pig was simply Diane's food. Ban then falls asleep peacefully with Diane, Elizabeth, Meliodas and Hawk.
Arch of the Capital of the Dead
After leaving the Village of Dalmary, during their journey to the Capital of the Dead, Meliodas explains to Ban where he met Elizabeth and Diane. The group is then intercepted by two Sacred Knights, Andre and his partner. They had heard that three of the Deadly Sins had destroyed the Keep of Baste and Fort Solgales and were traveling on a giant pig and that Diana was a member of the giant clan. While Ban wants to fight them, Meliodas says they are just members of a traveling bar and have nothing to do with the Seven Deadly Sins. Andre and his partner realize that "this kid" is indeed Meliodas of the Seven Deadly Sins, but they are killed by the sudden appearance of a black Hound. Hawk then says in a panic that Hounds are vicious beasts that stalk their prey just until it dies, but Ban wants to challenge what he calls "that dog". Sensing Ban's threat, the Hound grows huge, much to Ban's astonishment, and Hawk says that Hounds can change their sizes depending on the danger. Meliodas tells Ban not to attack him because they are the ones who have entered his territory. The Pig Hat arrives at a village that is supposed to be the closest to the Capital of the Dead. Meliodas tells Diane that her mission will be to bait the customers, which delights her and that Ban will be the cook of the day. Ban then says that he can sell Cenette's dagger for money, but he realizes that he doesn't have it anymore and Meliodas reminds him that he gave it back. As Elizabeth says she wants to participate in the service, Meliodas agrees and Ban takes the opportunity to leave. While walking through the village, Ban meets a little girl, who mysteriously passes out. Ban tries to wake up the girl, while her brother arrives, thinking that Ban had attacked her. Ban tells him that he saw her pass out, but the brother doesn't believe him. Ban then asks her if she is well fed, which angers the brother who asks him to leave and let go of his sister. Ban repeats the question, which the brother can't stand, so he sticks his rake into Ban's chest. The little girl wakes up and tells her brother that this person is nice, that he just wanted to protect her, and Ban pulls the rake out as if he had nothing. The brother apologizes and tells Ban that Sacred Knights came and stole all their resources, and that he had been hiding with his sister, named Ellen. They are both surprised when they see that Ban's wound has already disappeared. Ban tells them that a real crime cannot be erased. Suddenly, King arrives and stabs Ban, telling him he must know what he's talking about, without elaborating. While the little girl and her brother are frightened, Ban does not recognize his former orderly. King twists his spear, already planted on Ban's chest, which pierces him. Ban does not seem to feel anything, and regenerates, making the wound disappear. Ban asks him again who he is and King is surprised that he still does not see who he is. King then provokes him by telling him that he must surely remember the horrible sin he committed: killing the Fountain of Youth saint in order to be immortal. Ban orders Ellen and Luigi to run away, then he starts to fight King. Ban then asks him why he's doing this, and King tells him that he wants her to see Ban, her killer, dying in the Capital of the Dead. Ban then wants to attack King, but is stopped by Meliodas. When Meliodas and Diane say that this person is King, Ban is very surprised. At the Pig's Hat, after King flees, everyone returns. Ban cooks some delicious food for Ellen and her brother. They are embarrassed to receive this food because they don't have any money, but then Ban tells them that they will pay for it by giving them information about the Capital of the Dead. Meliodas then tells him that they don't need that kind of information since King isn't there, but Ellen's Brother tells them that King has asked him several times how to get there.
Capabilities and Equipment
As a member of the 7 Deadly Sins, Ban is very powerful. His speed and strength far exceed that of an ordinary human, and his specialty is using his speed in conjunction with his ability, Hijacking, to rip out organs from his opponent, his multiple hearts in the case of a demon. His most amazing ability, however, is his immortality. Thanks to the Fountain of Youth, all of Ban's wounds heal almost instantly, no matter how severe. He also never ages, has no special need to eat or drink and is immune to all poisons. His immortality allows him to fight with a much more reckless style than most would like. Ban's blood has healing properties, as it has been fused with the Fountain of Youth, making it capable of healing the wounds of others and completely regenerating the Fairy King's Forest.
- Hijacking「強奪 Gōdatsu」: An ability that allows Ban to "steal" physical objects, thus grabbing them and the physical abilities of others, weakening them while gaining strength and speed. However, this ability has its limits, as Ban cannot absorb more power than his body can handle, or else he will suffer a lot of physical damage. Using a form of Hijacking, Ban is also able to steal body parts from his opponents, such as a heart or an arm, in the blink of an eye.
- Staff: During his life as a bandit, Ban used a magic-infused staff, a blunt weapon consisting of 3 metal sticks linked together by a chain. He was extremely formidable in its use, and could use it in conjunction with Diversion, such as to grab the Fountain of Youth cup. The weapon itself was powerful enough to rip out one of a Demon's hearts and was capable of crushing flesh and breaking bones and nails. He used a more elaborate version of his staff when he became a member of the 7 Deadly Sins.
- Courechouse: As a member of the 7 Deadly Sins, Ban possessed a Sacred Treasure, stolen during his imprisonment in the Prison of Baste. It is a quadribon. Five years ago, since the separation of the 7 Deadly Sins, Courechouse was stolen after Ban deliberately allowed himself to be captured by the Knights of the Order of the Strange Fangs.
Melascula of Faith noted that Ban's power level, once the Feast of the Hunter was used, was most likely higher than that of a weakened Galand of Truth, which would place him well above the power level noted by Merlin.
After his trip to Purgatory, it can be noted that Ban's power level has completely increased, believing that he is now one of the most powerful of the Seven Deadly Sins. Successfully exchanging blows against the Demon King (in Meliodas' body), we can also notice that the latter slightly dominated the Demon King in a one-on-one fight, without the use of his magic power. (Note that none of the Seven Deadly Sins was a match for the Demon King. Even Mael, who has recovered his Sunshine Grace, was not strong enough to face the Demon King)
He was immortal for 20 years but he gave his immortality to Elaine to bring her back to life. His power level has really increased, he can even dominate the demon king who possesses Meliodas.
Relations
Meliodas
Meliodas is a member of the Seven Deadly Sins, just like Ban. They are both best friends and very competitive with each other. Ban considers Meliodas his best friend, he even says that he is one of the only two people who accepted him for who he was. Despite the attachment they have for each other, they would be willing to fight each other at full strength regardless of the potential damage they might suffer. Despite a great friendship, Ban tried to kill Meliodas for Elaine but later apologized for his act.
Diane
Diane is a member of the Seven Deadly Sins, just like Ban. The latter takes a malicious pleasure to make her jealous, as for example the time when he paid some ladies of joy who pretended to be groupies of Meliodas.
King
King is a member of the Seven Deadly Sins, but he was so saddened by his sister's death that he believed that it was because of Ban and his immortality that the Fairy King's forest was ravaged and his sister was dead. He then wanted to kill him, but Elaine dissuaded him.
Gowther
Gowther is a member of the Seven Deadly Sins, just like Ban.
Merlin
Merlin is a member of the Seven Deadly Sins, just like Ban.
Elizabeth Liones
Ban and Elizabeth seem to get along well. He will save her life more than once.
Elaine
Ban first has feelings for Elaine, starting with friendship, then love which he developed during his stay in the Forest of the Fairy King. These feelings of love are reciprocated as Elaine was also in love with Ban. He is the one who cured the loneliness that Elaine suffered, as she was alone for seven hundred years in the absence of her brother. Unfortunately, Elaine now remains in the Capital of the Dead after being killed by a demon. Despite Elaine's death, Ban is not desperate to bring her back to life. He would do anything for Elaine, even sacrifice his own life for her.
Jericho
At first, Ban is interested in her only because of her armor that he stole to her by undressing her and, by humiliating her. Since this day Jericho dreams only to take his revenge against Ban.As time went by and Jericho met Ban, his feelings towards him changed. After he saved her life, she began to realize that she loved him and even followed him when he left Liones for the Forest of the Fairy King.
Ban has a habit of teasing Jericho, like undressing her or making her believe things. Even though Ban doesn't have love feelings for Jericho, he considers her his little sister and admits that she is the first human he can stand to be around him.
Zhivago
Zhivago is the man who taught Ban how to steal and made him a bandit. He was the only person that the young Ban could trust and was a father figure to him. Zhivago considered Ban as his own son and was greatly ashamed of abandoning him to save his blood son. However, Ban never hated him and forgave him long ago.
