He is one of the twelve pirates known as the "Worst Generation." Law, like many other pirates, dreams of finding the One Piece, while also desiring to understand the purpose of the Will of D.

Law is currently allied with Luffy to take down Doflamingo as well as one of the 4 Emperors: Kaido of the Beast Pirates.

During the time skip, his bounty went from 200,000,000 Berry's to 440,000,000 Berry's, before being frozen after joining the Seven Warlords of the Sea. After being expelled from the Warlords following his alliance with Luffy, Law's bounty was raised to 500,000,000 Berry's.
