⛩ Son Goku returns to Earth just as Beerus was about to destroy it. Son Goku then asks him for a little time to learn more about the Super Saiyan God. To do this, he calls upon Shenron. The latter's story tells the legend of the Super Saiyan God, which is actually a God created artificially by Saiyans with a pure heart.

Son Goku then asks his sons and friends to help him achieve this. The first attempt failed because there were only 5 Saiyans, and a sixth one was needed. It was at that moment that Videl announces to Son Gohan that she is pregnant, and that her baby could help transform Goku into Super Saiyan God. The second attempt is a success.

Physically, Son Goku had changed. His eyes and hair had turned red, his muscles had become finer, and his aura was undetectable.

Beerus proposes to fight him and also offers to spare Earth if he is powerful enough. The two Gods engage in a ruthless battle, but Beerus had the upper hand over his opponent. The fight continued in space, Son Goku had already lost his Super Saiyan God form without even realizing it, but his power level had clearly not decreased.

The two Gods exchanged blows above Earth's atmosphere, Son Goku decided to speed up the pace by combining his Shunkan Ido and his Kamehameha, in vain. Beerus retaliated by sending a huge fireball toward Earth.
