⛩ As Team 7 newly reformed prepares for battle, Jūbi creates an army of monsters to defend against the attack. However, Hashirama warns the Shinobi Alliance of another series of attacks from Jūbi's Tailed Beast Orb. Fortunately, the orb thrown does not reach the barrier.

Hashirama creates five clones, four of which open the barrier to allow the Shinobi Alliance to attack Jūbi. His last wood clone confronts Madara, but he refuses to face him and demands the presence of the original. As the Alliance enters the barrier, Jūbi creates an army of monsters to defend against their attacks. Teams 8 and 10 resolve to become stronger, but, as Hashirama notes, Jūbi constantly creates larger and more powerful monsters.

Sai, on his part, decides to attack Jūbi's head from the air but quickly fails and is saved by Naruto, who catches him with his Bijū Chakra Arm as he falls. Sai then asks his teammate if it is possible for him to transfer his bijū chakra once again to the entire alliance, to which Naruto replies that it is impossible since he has not yet accumulated enough chakra to do so.

This worries Sai as, with their current strength, they will not have the time to perform the necessary hand seals for their technique or to make their way to attack Jūbi's main body. At that precise moment, Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura summon Gamakichi, Aoda, and Katsuyu, respectively, to provide their assistance on the battlefield.
